What is this new industry?

A new industry is emerging in America (and in other regions of the world) that offers all drivers an easy and affordable way to counter rising gasoline prices.  It is referred to as the Water To Fuel or Water For Fuel industry.  This emerging industry focuses on converting water to fuel and is promoting solutions that can extract usable energy from water.  These solutions are being offered from multiple companies that enable the average car driver a way to modify his/her vehicle to get better gas mileage.  There is enormous appeal because they offer the average driver easy and inexpensive ways to make their vehicles more fuel efficient - with proven results that decrease fuel consumption.

 Why is this new industry emerging?

The driving force behind this growing Water To Fuel market of course is rising gas prices at the pumps.  Gas prices have doubled in the last 5 years which is drastically impacting everyone's budget.  How crippling will it be to the average family if gas goes to $10 per gallon?  It will be devastating to the majority of drivers.

How big is the Water To Fuel industry?

There are many companies offering guides or booklets that spell out "using water for fuel" solutions.  They are sometimes referred to as "conversion kits" or water-to-energy converters.  The exact number of companies is unknown, but estimated to be more than 100 most of which are in the US.  One company reports over 20,000 customers. It is estimated that there are more than 100,000 vehicle owners utilizing a water to fuel kit now in the US.  So market penetration is very small compared to the millions of drivers in the US and worldwide. But it is growing rapidly as crude oil and gas prices at the pump increase. 

 How can you get fuel from water?

So how can the average car or truck owner get fuel from water?  It is actually very easy.  There are guides available with instructions on how to assemble a conversion kit or water-to energy converter. These converter kits can be installed within one hour.  Simply put, a container of plain water is placed under the hood with the other required system components. A small amount of energy from the car battery is used to support the electrolysis of the water. This creates a gas called Hydroxy gas or HHO gas which is then fed into the engine and is used to supplement the normal supply of gasoline.  The HHO gas greatly improves combustion of gasoline which in turn increases the miles per gallon.
